Meet the Pastor
Joshua & Sarah Zoppa
Pastor Joshua from Marysville, Ohio graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio majoring in both Music and Theology. Sarah grew up at Perry Chapel Baptist Church in Warsaw, Ohio, and one day met Joshua at a CRU Bible study where their relationship began. Sarah enjoys working in the Children Ministry and leading them in songs. Sarah loves the excitement of music, the beauty of God's nature, and joy of being around others.
Romans 3:23-24
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift through the redemption that is in Christ."
Every Christian has an incredibly important role in our world today, to reach others. The reality of our world is not a tv show, or even what is on the news; it is the eternal truth that all have sin in their lives which separates them from God. But you see, God didn't just let this problem continue. In fact the scriptures state that the eternal separation from God, called Hell, was prepared for the angels that rebelled against God not mankind (Jude 6). The solution God gave was His Son, Jesus Christ, dying on the cross for the payment of our sins. Any disobedience will have consequences, especially when it's upon God's earth, in God's creation (you, me, and everything we see around us). Jesus took away that consequence, that punishment, that separation that we all truthfully deserved. The redemption and payment for our sins is the gift that God has given to all of mankind, yet so many don't care nor desire to reach out and take the free gift. This great salvation and gift comes through the believing and proclaiming of Jesus Christ. Have you accepted Jesus Christ? Have you been redeemed by the Blood of Jesus? If not, today's the day that you must decide. The truth is, there is only one way to God and that is through His son Jesus Christ (John 14:6).
